Summary Ishaq Dar says that the bank will work together with other development banks.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Saturday that Pakistan will recommend Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to select hydropower and other water sector projects for financing in the first batch of projects, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Ishaq Dar participated in the inauguration ceremony of AIIB and also attended the first meeting of its Board of Governors. The events mark operationalization of the institution with the participation of fifty-seven founding members. The Minister reaffirmed Pakistan s support to AIIB and hoped the bank will work together with other development banks and supplement the ability to fund and fill the infrastructure development deficit in the region.
