Pakistan imported tea worth $1.40 crore from India in April-October 2015
Price has increased in local markets following USD 100 hike in international market
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan imported tea worth $1.40 crore from India in the last seven months, more than the aforementioned period of the previous year.
Pakistan had imported tea worth $1 crore from India within April to October 2014. Pakistan imports tea for Rs 34 billion every year.
The product’s price has increased in local markets following USD 100 hike in international market. 900 gram (gm) pack of tea is available in the retail at Rs 820 compared to previous Rs 570.
