KARACHI (Dunya News) – Retailers on Monday have increased milk price by at least Rs 8 following dairy farmers hike-call of Rs 6.Retailers have priced the dairy product at Rs 94 now from Rs 86.
All Karachi Milk Retailers Association said that farmers are providing milk for Rs 86 per litre. Earlier, the dairy farmers had set Rs 79 per litre price for the product.
The association said that after inclusion of gas, electricity and other expenses the price could not be lowered than Rs 96/litre. The people have criticised the provincial government for not taking notice.
