SHANGHAI (AFP) - Shanghai shares fell 1.19 percent on Wednesday morning after China cut the value of its yuan currency against the US dollar for a second consecutive day, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropped 46.68 points to 3,881.23.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, fell 0.88 percent, or 20.03 points, to 2,264.24.
