Lahore (Daily Dunya) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) freezed a bank account of a private company worth 4.25 crore rupees on non-payment of taxes, reported Daily Dunya.
The bank officials however transferred the amount of 4.25 crore rupees to another account before the account was frozen, due to which no tax could be recovered.
According to sources from FBR, the mentioned company did not pay taxes for the fiscal year 2012-2013.
FBR officials have summoned the bank manager Rabiya Anayatullah and Manager Operations to appear before FBR on May 18 for their interference in official matters.
