HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong shares ended the morning session 0.80 percent lower Monday following heavy losses on Wall Street as strong US jobs data raised the chances of an early Federal Reserve interest rate hike.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index gave up 194.46 points to 23,969.54 by lunch on turnover of HK$38.19 billion ($4.93 billion).
