HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong shares climbed 0.33 percent in the morning Wednesday as investors brushed off a heavy sell-off on Wall Street that was fuelled by disappointing earnings figures and soft economic data.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 81.74 points to 24,889.02 by the break on turnover of HK$41.36 billion (US$5.34 billion).
