HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong shares closed the morning session 1.00 percent lower Friday, in line with a regional sell-off following more losses on Wall Street and Switzerland s decision to scrap its peg to the euro.
The benchmark index fell 243.35 points to 24,107.56 by the break on turnover of HK$53.43 billion (US$6.89 billion).
