SHANGHAI (AFP) - Chinese stocks were up slightly in morning trade Tuesday following overnight gains in the US, where the Nasdaq reached a 14-year high.

The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, gained 0.2 percent, or 2.78 points, to 1,221.51.
