Number of mobile phone users has increased to 97.6 million. According to PTA, number of mobile phone users increased by 9 percent in 2009. In 2008, 89.99 million people have mobile connections. Wireless phone users have reached 2.7 million in 2009, up by 15 percent. Internet users are also increasing with each passing day. Number of Broad Band users increased to 5 lac 87 thousands, up by 42 percent.
