At least 7 percent increase was recorded in the sale of cars during the first four months of the current fiscal year. According to the data of Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, from July to October 2009, 42,743 cars were sold while in the same period last year the volume was 39,992. In October, sale of cars remained 12,224 with an increase of 24 percent while in October 2008; 9,834 cars were sold. According to experts, rates of auto-financing are expected to be decreased with economic recovery in the country due to which sale of cars would further be increased.
