Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has directed to include the names of directors of Dean Com in the exit control list (ECL) in sales tax fraud case worth Rs 140 million and suspend the officers of Federal Board of Revenue involved in the scam, reported Dunya News. Chaudhry Nisar Ali presided over the PAC meeting in Islamabad. PAC directed to include the names of the company directors Laiq Ahmad Sheikh, Luqman Ahmad and Basharat Khan in the ECL for refunding Rs 140 million by fake means. The Committee demanded an immediately suspension of Collector Islamabad Nadir Khan Hoti, Additional Collector Naeem Ijaz Qureshi and Deputy Collector Sheraz Ahmed. Chaudhry Nisar Ali also directed FIA to inquire about sales tax refund fraud case of Rs 280.37 million against Makkah Cement Corporation while he referred a sales tax refund fraud case of Rs 18 million against Fatima Sugar Mills Koat Addu to a special committee.
