Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has set up facilitation desks all across Pakistan to help taxpayers filing their income tax returns before the September 30 deadline. On the other hand, FBR Chairman Sohail Ahmad has asked the taxpayers to deposit the tax by September 30. He said that more than 30 centers would be established in Okara, Sheikhpura, Nankana and Lahore. He told that Friends of Pakistan had only given 10 percent of aid by now. He appealed the taxpayers to help government in relieving burden on the finance ministry.
