Oil falls in Asian trade

Oil prices dropped in Asian trade on Tuesday due to a US-China trade dispute. Light sweet crude oil in Singapore for October delivery fell to $68.67 a barrel with a decrease of 19 cents while London Brent North Sea crude for October delivery fell 46 cents to $67.37 a barrel. The escalating trade dispute between the US and China is casting a shadow on the market, analysts said. Expected decrease in demand became the reason for a downward slide in oil prices.
