Use of petroleum products increase

Use of petroleum products recorded surge during the first two moths of current fiscal year. According to investment cap report, use of petroleum products during July and August remained 3.56 million ton in Pakistan while the volume during the same period last year was 1.9 million ton. During the current year, use of petrol was .0321 million ton, kerosene oil 22,000 ton, light diesel 12,000 ton, high speed diesel 1.3 million ton and fuel oil 1.6 million ton.
