Summary The State Bank issued new notes worth rupees 8 million per minute during the last week.
According to the statistics of state bank of Pakistan, Rs 34.66 billion worth new notes were issued during the second week of May due to which the total sum of current notes were estimated above 1.7 trillion rupees.According to economic experts, government issues new currency notes to bear its expenditures which contribute to rising inflation in the local markets.
