Summary Prices of 39 daily use items surged during the current fiscal year, says FBS.
According to a report issued by Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), prices of 39 daily use items out of 53 registered an increase of 4 to 65 percent during the current FY year.Banana surged by 65%, onion 47%, tomato 38%, eggs 37% and rice and red chillies 20%.The items which registered decrease in their prices include Masoor pulse, moong pulse, potato and sugarHowever, weekly inflation remained at 8.97 percent.
