Summary China on Thursday posted a trade surplus for the second consecutive month, say the customs agency.
According to the statement, the trade surplus widened as import growth slowed and the economy continued to feel the effects of stagnating growth in Europe.The country recorded a trade surplus of $18.42 billion in April, the customs agency said, with imports up just 0.3 percent year-on-year to $144.83 billion.
