The Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources says Russia has shown interest in exploration of oil and gas in PakistanThis was stated by Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources‚ Dr Asim Hussain while talking to newsmen at a display ceremony of Russian made aircraft Sukhoi-100 in Karachi on Saturday.He said Russians have also evinced interest in different pipelines that are being laid.Dr Asim said the Government is considering the rail and road link with Russia through Afghanistan to promote bilateral trade.The Russians have also shown interest in the Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project.He said trade from China to Russia could be promoted through the Karakorum Highway.
