Summary Rupee fell back against other currencies at Karachi Interbank Forex Market this week.
According to State Bank, the rupee lost strength against dollar by 2 paisas standing at Rs 90.63.The local currency depreciated against the Euro as standing at Rs 119.21, slumped 73 paisas.The rupee also recorded 45 paisas loss against the Pound trading at Rs 144.34.The State Bank of Pakistan kept its key policy rate unchanged at 12 percent for the subsequent two months to rein in inflation and because of weak external accounts.The announcement was made after markets had closed.
