Karachi Stock Exchange remained overwhelmed with bears on Tuesday, as the KSE benchmark 100-index was seen pushed below 7000-point level. Today the trade activity opened in positive territory; but, the selling pressure by foreign investors in energy stocks turned the market negative. Also, some technical faults caused to stanch the trade activities for at least one hour, after which trading timings were increased by 15 minutes. The KSE-100 index closed at 7674 down 36 points. The trading volume was 80 million shares with maximum activity witnessed in Fauji Cement shares, which dwindled to Rs8 down three paisa. Meantime, KSE30 index closed at 8204 down 64 points. The experts foresee a bullish market in the forthcoming days.
