LAHORE (Dunya News) – An Instagram friendship that began six years ago has turned into marriage, as an Italian bride travelled to Pakistan for the sake of love.
When the bride arrived at Lahore Airport, the family of groom Nabeel Awan gave her a warm welcome.
After both families gave their consent and legal requirements were completed, the wedding ceremony was held. A walima reception was also organised at a local hotel in Kallar Kahar, attended by the groom's family, relatives and friends.
According to the family, both the bride and groom are hearing-impaired, but they are overjoyed to be together. The bride wore traditional Pakistani attire and quickly mixed with the locals.
