NCCIA Lahore arrested a Sialkot-based TikToker accused of uploading an insulting video targeting a female journalist on Facebook.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore has arrested a TikToker accused of harassing a female journalist on social media.

According to sources, the suspect was identified as Muhammad Shehzeb, alias Shehzeb Sialkoti, a resident of Sialkot. A case was registered against him following a complaint by the female journalist. He allegedly uploaded an abusive, insulting and humiliating video targeting her on Facebook.

Sources said a raid was conducted at City Housing Society in Sialkot on information provided by an informer, with the approval of the NCCIA Lahore additional director. The suspect was arrested during the raid, and two mobile phones were recovered from his possession.

A technical examination at the scene found that his Facebook, two Instagram and TikTok accounts were active on the recovered phones.

According to sources, the controversial video was found in the downloads folder of an iPhone. Investigations further revealed that the suspect's Facebook and TikTok accounts were monetised and linked to a private bank account. He allegedly earned money by uploading roasting content and controversial videos on social media.

Sources said the suspect admitted during interrogation that he had uploaded the video on September 10, 2026, but later deleted it after using abusive language.

The NCCIA Lahore's timely action demonstrates its commitment to investigating cyber harassment and defamation cases, sources added.
