SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) - A 12-year-old domestic worker, Zainab, allegedly died after being tortured by her employer at a house on Khalid Road in Sheikhupura. Police have arrested a suspect identified as Rafiqat.
According to the girl’s family, Zainab had been working at Rafiqat’s house for the past 18 months. They alleged that the woman of the house beat the child with sticks and shoe soles, resulting in her death.
Police said Zainab’s body had been shifted to a hospital for a post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
