PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - All public and private educational institutions in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain closed on Monday, October 12, following the imposition of emergency rule in the province and in view of the prevailing situation.
According to district administrations, schools, colleges and universities in Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan and Nowshera will remain closed for the day.
In Swabi, the District Education Officer and deputy commissioner confirmed that all public and private educational institutions across the district would remain closed on Monday in view of the prevailing circumstances.
Similarly, the deputy commissioner of Mardan ordered the closure of all government and private schools, colleges and universities on October 12.
All examinations and papers scheduled for the day have also been cancelled.

In Nowshera, Deputy Commissioner Gohar Zaman announced the closure of all public and private educational institutions across the district.
According to the district administration, academic activities will remain suspended, and all examinations scheduled for Monday have been cancelled.
The relevant authorities and heads of educational institutions have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the closure orders.
Separate notifications regarding the closure of educational institutions have been issued by the respective district administrations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Students and parents have been advised to follow announcements from their respective educational institutions for further updates.
