MATIARI (Dunya News) - Three Hindu youths drowned in a canal in an area of interior Sindh while performing religious rituals, police said.
According to police, all three youths belonged to the Gujarati community. The deceased were identified as Kumar, Anil and Ritik.
Police said the youths were sitting beside the canal to perform religious rituals when they accidentally slipped and fell into the water.
Following the incident, local residents launched a search for the three youths on their own.
Police further said that district administration officials and rescue teams had not yet reached the site, leaving local residents to continue the search operation themselves.
