LONDON (Web Desk) - President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in London for a two-week stay in the United Kingdom, according to sources.
Sources said the president is expected to undergo various medical check-ups during his time in the UK. He is also not expected to participate in any political activities while in London.
Despite the private nature of the visit, several delegations are reportedly expected to meet with President Zardari during his stay.
Zardari is accompanied by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and his personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, sources said.
According to the sources, this is Zardari’s first visit to the UK in nearly six years. His son and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also expected to arrive in London in the coming days.
