MOSCOW (Shahid Ghuman) - The Kremlin has said that Ukraine is heading towards defeat in the war and that the situation on various fronts clearly demonstrates this. Briefing reporters on Wednesday, Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there was no doubt that Ukraine is losing the war. Peskov said the fact was quite clear and that ongoing developments on all fronts clearly indicated that Ukraine was losing the war. The statement by the Kremlin spokesman came after a recent interview with former Ukrainian Defence Minister Mikhail Fyodorov. According to the report, Fyodorov, while discussing the war in Ukraine, admitted in his interview that it appeared Ukraine was gradually losing its position in the war. Peskov clarified the Russian position in the context of the same statement, saying that the situation and developments in all areas of the war front indicate that Ukraine is retreating in the conflict. Russia has previously taken the position several times that Russian forces are continuing to advance on various fronts and that Moscow will continue operations until the set goals of its military operation are achieved.
