LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced 15-member squads for the Women’s Asia Cup and the 20th Asian Games.
Regular captain Fatima Sana will lead the national side in both tournaments. She missed Pakistan’s recent T20I series against Sri Lanka due to her commitments in The Hundred.
The Women’s Asia Cup will be held in Dubai from August 28 to September 13.
The Asia Cup squad comprises Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroza, Syaira Jabbeen, Eman Fatima, Eman Nasir, Umme Hani, Tuba Hassan, Nashra Sandhu, Momina Riaz, Najiha Alvi, Waheeda Akhtar and Sadia Yousuf.
For the Asian Games, Alia Riaz, Tasmiya Rubab and Humna Bilal have been included in the squad.

— Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) August 16, 2026Pakistan are placed in Group A alongside India, Thailand and Hong Kong, China. The national team will face Thailand on September 1, India on September 5 and Hong Kong, China on September 7.
The semi-finals are scheduled for September 10 and 11, while the final will be played on September 13 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. All matches will begin at 7:30pm Pakistan Standard Time.
At the Asian Games, Pakistan have been seeded alongside Thailand. The national team will take on Thailand in the fourth quarter-final at Koroogi Athletic Park in Aichi on September 17.
The other quarter-finals will see India face Japan, Bangladesh take on China and Sri Lanka play Malaysia.
Pakistan won gold medals in the women’s cricket competitions at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games, while the team finished fourth in the 2022 edition.
If Pakistan reach the semi-finals this time, they will face either Sri Lanka or Malaysia. The medal matches are scheduled for September 22.
As part of preparations for the Asia Cup, Pakistan’s national training camp will be held at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore from August 16 to 25.
