(Web Desk) – The federal government has decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged for the next three days.
Petrol will continue to be priced at Rs325.43 per litre, while high-speed diesel will remain at Rs383.95 per litre until Monday.
A day earlier, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC), chaired by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Islamabad, approved an increase of Rs1.34 per litre in the dealers’ margin on petroleum products, taking the total margin to Rs10 per litre.
Following the government’s decision, petroleum dealers have called off their planned strike.
According to the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association, the government increased the dealers’ margin by Rs1.34 per litre, bringing the total margin to Rs10 per litre.
