HONG KONG (Dunya News) - Pakistan have qualified for the final of the Plate Division at the ongoing Women’s Asian Netball Championship 2026 in Hong Kong.
The Pakistan Women’s Netball Team defeated Japan 53-25 in the semi-final to book their place in the decisive match.
Pakistan produced a dominant performance, comfortably overcoming Japan in a one-sided contest.
Saba Noor Anwar, Lia Raza Shah, Hina Chaudhry, Serena Naseem, Jasmin, Farah, Noorul Ain and Samaya Safdar delivered strong performances to help Pakistan secure the victory.
Pakistan will face Thailand in the Plate Division final on Saturday (today).
Pakistan Netball Federation Chairman Zafar Iqbal Awan, President Malik Amin Khan and Secretary Muhammad Riaz congratulated the players, coaching staff and officials on the impressive victory and expressed their best wishes for the team ahead of the final.
