ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has described the signing of Makkah Joint Defence Agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkiye in Makkah as a matter of pride and honour.
In a statement released on X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “I am proud and honoured to have signed the joint defence agreement in Makkah my dear brothers, Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.”
Shehbaz Sharif said this agreement is a symbol of faith, mutual friendship, and a shared commitment to peace and security among the three brotherly Islamic countries.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in particular, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, saying that his tireless work, extraordinary dedication, and continuous efforts played a significant role in achieving this important goal.
