MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has suspended Kotli Deputy Commissioner Raja Imran Shaheen and Kotli SSP Adeel Ahmed Langrial for their alleged failure to maintain law and order in Kotli district and dereliction of duty.
According to official sources, the action was taken against the officers for failing to effectively maintain the law and order situation in the district and for neglecting administrative responsibilities.
The government has appointed Usman Sarim as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kotli. It is expected that after the new appointment, immediate steps will be taken to improve administrative affairs and the law and order situation in the district.
Sources further revealed that the government has made it clear that no negligence or lapse in the protection of public life and property and the enforcement of the law will be tolerated, while further steps are expected to improve administrative efficiency.
