KARACHI (Dunya News) – The US dollar strengthened in Pakistan's open market on Friday, crossing the Rs280 mark following a modest increase in its exchange rate.
According to media reports, the dollar gained 20 paisa during trading and was being sold at Rs280.02 in the open market.
Open market currency dealers said demand for the US dollar has increased during the current month, contributing to the upward movement in the exchange rate.
