CHOLPON-ATA (Dunya News) - Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.
This came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Moldokanovich Kulubaev on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.

— Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Pakistan (@ForeignOfficePk) July 24, 2026The two leaders underscored the importance of sustained high-level exchanges and the timely implementation of the understandings reached during the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan in December last year, as well as the official visit of the President of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan earlier this month.
They reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and discussed expanding collaboration in trade, investment, energy, connectivity, business-to-business, and people-to-people contacts.

They also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reaffirmed their resolve to work closely in multilateral fora to promote peace, stability, and shared prosperity.
Ishaq Dar congratulated the Kyrgyz Republic on successfully hosting the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting and on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2027–2028 term.
