PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved a 50 percent increase in conveyance allowance for government employees, with the revised rates taking effect from July 1, 2026.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Department has issued a notification announcing the increase, which will benefit all government employees from Grade 1 to Grade 20 and above.
Under the revised rates, the conveyance allowance for employees in Grades 1 to 4 has been increased from Rs1,785 to Rs2,677 per month. Employees in Grades 5 to 10 will now receive a monthly conveyance allowance of Rs2,898.
According to the notification, employees in Grades 11 to 15 will receive a monthly conveyance allowance of Rs4,284, while officers in Grades 16 to 20 and above will be entitled to Rs7,500 per month.
The enhanced conveyance allowance will come into effect from July 1, 2026.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Cabinet has also approved an increase in conveyance allowance for provincial government employees, with the revised travel allowance covering employees from Grade 1 to Grade 16.
