ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Online registration for Hajj 2027-2030 is progressing rapidly, with more than 340,000 prospective pilgrims completing the process from across Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said.
According to the ministry's spokesperson, 246,000 applicants opted for the government Hajj scheme, while 94,000 registered under the private Hajj scheme.
Provincial data showed that 156,000 applicants registered from Punjab, 100,000 from Sindh, 51,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,000 from Islamabad, 12,000 from Balochistan, 2,600 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and 1,200 from Gilgit-Baltistan.
The spokesperson said an announcement regarding online collection of Hajj dues is expected soon. Registered applicants have been advised to use the Pak Hajj app or contact Hajj helplines for guidance and information.
The ministry also urged applicants to provide accurate information during registration and include only immediate family members in group applications to avoid complications later.
