GUJAR KHAN (Dunya News) - Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Kashmir is Pakistan's jugular vein and asserted that no power could separate it from Pakistan.
Addressing a public gathering in Gujar Khan on Saturday, Aurangzeb said development projects across the country reflected former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's commitment to public service.
She noted that the public had elected Nawaz Sharif as prime minister three times and said his development initiatives were visible throughout Pakistan.
She claimed that development projects worth Rs100 billion are currently underway in Kashmir, adding that Kashmir and Pakistan are inseparable and that decisions regarding Kashmir should be made in Kashmir.
Aurangzeb also said Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had consistently advocated Pakistan's position on the Kashmir issue.

The senior provincial minister urged voters to evaluate political parties based on their performance and ask leaders what development work they had carried out in their respective provinces.
Criticising the opposition, Aurangzeb said those focused on attacking others had failed to deliver meaningful public welfare projects in the provinces they governed.
She maintained that the Punjab government was expanding access to quality healthcare and accelerating development initiatives across multiple sectors, adding that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in practical performance rather than slogan-based politics.
