Five sustain burns in Lahore house fire

Cylinder gas leakage is stated to be the reason for the blaze

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Five people including two children sustained burns in a fire erupted in a slum area of Khokhar Chowk here on Saturday.

According to Rescue 1122 staff, the fire broke out due to a gas cylinder leak in the house.

According to rescue officials, the injured include five people, including 19-year-old Ali, 11-year-old Ayesha, 5-year-old Owais, and 45-year-old Muhammad Ali.

All the injured were shifted to the hospital after receiving first aid, while rescue teams took timely action and brought the fire under control.

On information, police also reached the fire site and launched an investigation into the incident.
