KARACHI (Dunya News) - The wreckage of the Boeing 737 cargo plane that crashed into the sea has been transferred to Karachi.

Sources said that the debris found at sea so far is insufficient for a full investigation into the accident, which will make the investigation process dependent on further recoveries.
Furthermore, the accident investigation team has returned to Islamabad after conducting an initial inspection of the wreckage, while if the aircraft's vital equipment and other necessary parts are found, the investigation team will return to Karachi for a detailed inspection.

Earlier, the investigation team tasked with probing the cargo plane crash in Karachi has returned to Islamabad after completing the initial phase of its inquiry.
According to sources, the 11-member team, led by Bureau of Safety Investigation chief Air Commodore Ahsan Nauman, arrived in Karachi two days ago to examine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
During its visit, the team reviewed the aircraft's maintenance records, ownership documents and other relevant material. Before departing, investigators also inspected the wreckage recovered from the sea.
Sources said the team concluded that the debris recovered so far was insufficient to determine the full cause of the crash.
The investigators are expected to return to Karachi once key components, including the aircraft's engine and flight data recorder (black box), are recovered to continue the investigation.
