NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – One person was killed and four other were wounded when a police mobile van collided with a pick-up near Nowshera on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the accident occurred on Charsadda-Peshawar Motorway where a speeding police mobile skidded off the road after its tyre burst and collided with a pick-up parked on the roadside, killing one person on the spot and injuring four others, including three police officials.
Motorway police and rescue teams reached the spot after the accident and shifted the dead and injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Nowshera. Later the injured were shifted to Peshawar due to their critical condition.
Meanwhile, the District Police Officer (DPO) of Charsadda took notice of the incident and ordered an investigation into the accident.
