Curfew imposed in North Waziristan for two days over security concerns

The Deputy Commissioner has advised people to stay indoors and avoid traveling on roads. The general public has also been requested to cooperate with the administration during the curfew hours.

NORTH WAZIRISTAN (Dunya News) – Curfew has been imposed in District North Waziristan of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for two days over security reasons, Dunya News reported.

According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner Samiullah Khan, the curfew will remain in effect 5:00am to 7:00pm on Saturday and Sunday (July 4 and July 5), during which all types of movement are strictly prohibited.

Meanwhile, the district administration said that security measures have been further tightened across the entire district.

The Deputy Commissioner has advised people to stay indoors and avoid traveling on roads. The general public has also been requested to cooperate with the administration during the curfew hours.
