NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – One person was killed and another sustained critical injuries when roof of a house collapsed in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Friday.
According to details, roof of a dilapidated house located in Ismail Khel Charat area of Nowshera suddenly caved in due to recent rains, burying two persons under the debris.
Local residents started the rescue operation on self-help basis and retrieved a dead body from the rubbles while the other person was pulled out in injured condition.
The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The deceased was identified as Haji Rashid. Meanwhile, the injured person was later shifted to Peshawar due to his critical condition.
