KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab on Sunday said that the Karachi budget prioritises addressing the problems faced by residents and the development work in the city will continue.
Speaking at the Council Hall, Murtaza Wahab said that the construction and rehabilitation of Karachi's infrastructure, including roads, bridges, and flyovers will continue.
He said that every effort has been made to serve the city in the best possible way within the available resources. He added that there is a perception that no development work is carried out in Karachi, but more than 3.1 million square feet of road patchwork has been completed across the city.
The Karachi Mayor added that the construction and rehabilitation of the Nursery Flyover, Jinnah Bridge, and Shaheed-e-Millat Road have been completed. He also said that the Azeempura Flyover was completed in 93 days.
