KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Airports Authority has extended the closure of Pakistani airspace for Indian flights until July 24, 2026, issuing a fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).
According to the NOTAM, Indian-registered commercial and military aircraft will not be allowed to enter Pakistani airspace for an additional month.
The restriction also applies to aircraft leased by Indian airlines, as well as any planes owned or operated by Indian individuals.
The notice stated that Pakistani airspace will remain closed for Indian aviation operations until 5:00 am on July 24, 2026.
Officials noted that Pakistan has kept its airspace closed to Indian flights since April 23, 2025, a move that has reportedly caused significant financial losses to Indian airlines.
