ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said it is mandatory for every citizen to be faithful to the state and comply with the Constitution of the country.
The defence minister gave the statement in the wake of recent situation in Azad Kashmir. He said loyalty to the state and adherence to the Constitution are the basic responsibilities of every citizen.
Taking to X, Khawaja Asif said ‘dialogue begins with loyalty and complete obedience to the state, adding some individuals in Azad Kashmir were treading a path that is against the interests of the state and they should study Article 5 of the Constitution of Pakistan, which demands unwavering loyalty to the state.
