Rana Sana, US official discuss bilateral ties

Rana Sanaullah and U.S. official Terry Steers Gonzalez discussed bilateral ties, regional peace and diplomacy, stressing stronger Pakistan-U.S. cooperation and engagement.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination Rana Sanaullah met US Embassy Counselor for Political Affairs Terry Steers Gonzalez here on Tuesday.

The two discussed Pakistan-US bilateral relations, the regional situation, and matters of mutual interest, said a statement issued here.

The US representative appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

He said Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to advance dialogue between Iran and the United States are commendable, adding that Pakistan’s role in establishing regional peace is both important and valuable.

Sanaullah said Pakistan has always prioritized dialogue and diplomacy for the resolution of disputes.

He noted that the stability of Pakistan-US relations will contribute to peace and prosperity in the region.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of strengthening high-level engagement between Pakistan and the United States.

Sanaullah reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to play its positive role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.

He added that a strong partnership between the two countries is key to securing a bright and peaceful future for the region.
