TURBAT (Dunya News) - A newly built 120-bed modern hospital has been opened for public use in Turbat, aiming to improve access to quality healthcare services in the region.
According to officials, the facility has been established with the cooperation of FC Balochistan (South) and is equipped with round-the-clock emergency and trauma care services.
The hospital is also providing advanced diagnostic facilities including CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, and other modern medical equipment. A dedicated mother and child section has been set up to ensure improved healthcare services for women and children, staffed with trained medical professionals.
Specialist doctors across multiple disciplines, ranging from general medicine to neurosurgery, will be available at the facility. The hospital also includes modern operation theatres to support surgical procedures.
In addition, the facility is equipped with an oxygen generation plant, a 1.1-megawatt power backup system, and an advanced sanitation and infection-control system designed according to international standards.
Local residents have welcomed the initiative, terming it a significant step toward improving healthcare infrastructure in the region.
