Three labourers electrocuted to death in Multan

At least three labourers were electrocuted to death while working at the Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan on Friday.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – At least three labourers were electrocuted to death while working at the Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan on Friday, Dunya News reported.

According to rescue officials, the accident occurred at the Sher Shah Toll Plaza, where three workers were carrying out maintenance work using an iron ladder. The deceased were repairing lights installed on the steel roof of the toll plaza.

Rescue authorities stated that after completing their work, the workers were taking the iron ladder back to a storage room when it accidentally touched the high-voltage power lines. As a result, all three men suffered severe electric shocks and died at the spot.

The victims were identified as Qayyum, Ameen, and Nadeem. Following the incident, the relevant authorities launched an investigation into the accident.
