KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) post-Hajj flight from Jeddah to Karachi was delayed for several hours on Wednesday after the plane developed a technical fault.
The aircraft, which was ready for departure at the Jeddah Airport, returned from the ramp due to a technical fault. Pilgrims awaiting their return journey faced significant inconvenience. The Hajj flight was scheduled to depart for Karachi in the morning, but it could not leave even after several hours of delay.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the passengers have been moved to the lounge, and engineers have been dispatched to the aircraft. The plane will depart as soon as the technical issue is resolved.
The spokesperson further stated that PIA apologizes for the discomfort and difficulties caused to the pilgrims. The CEO of PIA and the engineering management are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
